Arc Canberra Champion Award

Arc Canberra Champion award aims to recognize UNSW Canberra students who have helped create a supportive social atmosphere among their peers and have contributed immensely in organizing the club/university activities. This award will be given at a duration as the executives see fit.

Awardees will be featured in Arc Canberra Newsletter, social media channels and Website.

Eligibility criteria:

  • Must be a current UNSW Canberra student.
  • Should not be past winner of this award (in an academic year).
  • Should not be a member of the executive committee.
  • Students can nominate themselves or be nominated by either a UNSW student or staff member.

Selection criteria*:

  • Demonstrated active involvement in improving the experience of UNSW Canberra students
  • Demonstrated high level of support to Arc Canberra or other university activities

Winners will be notified by email and information will be published through social media and newsletter. If awarded, the awardee must submit a photograph, and short bio as requested.

*Please note that the decision for the award will be taken by executives and university staff together and Arc Canberra reserves the right to all the decisions.

Michael Zipperle

Michael is a PhD student in Cyber Security at UNSW Canberra. He is the Web Technology Coordinator of Arc Canberra and his main responsibility is to keep the club's website up to date.

Nastaran is a PhD student in Health Policy at School of Business in UNSW Canberra. She is the Public Relations and Communications Officer of Arc Canberra, and her main responsibility is to publicity and promote club's events and activities through weekly newsletter.
