Online Training

Your Online Training has moved to Rubric. Same content, same modules, now in one place. No separate login, no enrolment key.

It's 100% online and self-guided with 10 modules plus Gendered Violence Training and takes an average of 2 hours to complete. You're not expected to knock it out in one sitting, so take your time and work through it module by module. This content is foundational to running a successful Club, so it's worth reading properly rather than clicking through.

Who needs to do it?

The Online Training needs to be completed EVERY year by ALL Arc Club Executives.

The content has been changed and updated to keep pace with our rapidly evolving Clubs & Societies landscape.

Why do I need to do it?

In order to be Affiliated with Arc, your entire Executive team MUST complete the Online Moodle Training. Without it, your Club cannot attend O-Week, apply for grants or make room bookings.

It is due 4 weeks after you are listed as an Executive on Rubric. For most Clubs that is the day your reaffiliation is submitted. Rubric tracks the date and enforces it, so keep an eye on your dashboard.

Online Moodle Training is a requirement to be recognised for AHEGS (If your Club has registered for AHEGS Recognition through UNSW Advantage, more info HERE.

How to complete it

Log in to Rubric and head to ... I haven't published it yet. Stay tuned!

That’s it!

Completing your training is an important part of being a Club Executive and crucial to being successful at your role. So we kindly ask that you fully read through the training and understand your obligations, role and learn a few tricks along the way.

In-Person Onboarding Training

A full day of practical training that takes you from newly elected to genuinely ready. Catered lunch πŸ˜‹, afternoon tea 🍡, and a whole room of other Execs to swap ideas with. Last year's Execs told us meeting people from other Clubs was one of the best parts, so we've built more of it in.

Student Welfare Training

Arc Clubs is teaming up with the Kingsford Legal Centre and the UNSW Mental Health and Wellbeing Unit to give Club leaders the skills to look after the people in their Clubs.

At least one Executive from every Club must attend. Your Welfare Officer is the obvious pick, but any Exec can go, and plenty of Clubs send more than one.
