VU x College Expo Event Volunteer

Join Volunteers United and the Arc Team at the UNSW College Expo! This is a chance for UNSW College students to experience a taste of everything Arc has to offer. Throughout the Expo, students can explore Arc programs and services, discover clubs and societies, meet volunteering programs, enjoy games, free food and giveaways, and find new ways to get involved in the UNSW community. As a volunteer, you'll help create a welcoming and engaging Expo experience while connecting students with the different activities, programs and services available on the day.

What you'll be doing:

• Welcoming and engaging with students throughout the Expo
• Handing out food and supporting food distribution
• Helping manage crowds and lines to keep activities running smoothly
• Directing students around the Expo and recommending activities, stalls and programs to check out next
• Encouraging students to explore and engage with different Arc programs and services
• Supporting the Arc Team with general event activities and helping create a fun and welcoming atmosphere

Shift Details

Location: UNSW College

Date and Shifts:

• Tuesday 6th October: 11:00AM – 1:00PM and 1:00PM – 3:00PM

Volunteers needed: 5 volunteers per shift

Volunteer Training

To be eligible to volunteer, you must complete the mandatory Volunteers United Online Training Modules before your shift. After signing up, you'll receive a confirmation email with links to self-enrol in the training and join the Volunteers United WhatsApp Community, where you'll receive volunteer briefings and important updates.
