Join Volunteers United and the at SEXtember! SEXtember is UNSW's annual celebration of sexual health, identity, and inclusive education. Since 2019, the event has encouraged open conversations, challenged stigma, and created opportunities for students to learn more about consent, relationships, and sexual wellbeing in a fun and inclusive environment.

Volunteers United will be facilitating a zine-Making activity, where students will create their own mini zines exploring personal boundaries, body safety, healthy relationship green flags, and ways to confidently communicate "yes" and "no". Volunteers will help create a welcoming and supportive environment while encouraging students to get involved in the activity.

What you'll be doing:

  • Welcoming and engaging with students throughout the event

  • Assisting students with the boundary zine-making activity

  • Encouraging conversations around consent, healthy relationships and personal boundaries
