What are Campus Tours?

Campus Tours are the best way to find your way around UNSW, which could be important for knowing where your classrooms are, campus facilities, or simply finding your way from point A to point B.  

In a campus tour, you’ll be led by student volunteers who know UNSW’s buildings, as well as the ins and outs of campus, like go-to study spaces and their recommended food spots. Your tour guides are also there to answer any questions you have about anything university related. Another great way to meet new students is with the tour group you’ll be guided alongside, who are also ready to learn their way around campus.

Types of Tours

We have three different types of tours depending on what information you’re looking for. For all tour types, you can receive a free O-Week Tour Bag from our friendly volunteers. 

General Campus Tour: A tour of all of UNSW where you’ll be able to meet new people and potential friends, highlighting important facts about its buildings and facilities. On our general campus tours, there will be a free BBQ* at the end of tour.

Faculty Tour: Get top tips to get study-readywhile navigating all faculty relevant buildings, including offices, facilities and specific spaces. 

Personalised Tour: Receive a tailored tour to have all questions answered in less than 20 minutes! Led by a one student tour guide, this is a shorter tour type to be guided to specific locations of your choice, by yourself or in a smaller group. 

*End of day General Campus Tours will not have a BBQ.
