An election will be held for the following contested positions:
- PGC President
- General Secretary
- Vice President Research
- Vice President Coursework
- Vice President International
- Vice President Equity
- Canberra Campus Officer
- Research Committee Liaison
- Coursework Committee Liaison
- International Committee Liaison
- Equity Committee Liaison

- Paddington Campus Officer
VOTING
Voting to be held in week 5 (commencing 7:00AM Monday 13th October to 9:00PM Thursday 16th October). Voting will be held online only, via BigPulse.
*All eligible students will receive a voting link from BigPulse via their zID email address*
Who Can Vote
All current UNSW Postgraduate students may vote in the election of unrestricted positions:
- PGC President
- General Secretary
- Vice President Equity
- Equity Committee Liaison
Current UNSW Postgraduate students may vote in the election for the below positions however, the following restrictions apply:
- Only Coursework Students may vote in the election of the Vice President Coursework and Coursework Committee Liaison.
- Only International Students may vote in the election of the Vice President International and International Committee Liaison.
- Only Research Students may vote in the election of the Vice President Research and Research Committee Liaison.
- Only students whose primary course / controlling school is based on Paddington campus may vote in the election of the Paddington Officer.
- Only students whose primary course / controlling faculty is based on Canberra campus may vote in the election of the Canberra Officer.
TERMS
Officers and Councillors hold office from 1 December 2025 until 30 November 2026. Officers and Councillors may only hold any one office for a maximum of 2 years.
If elected as an Office Bearer, you will be required to attend the following in-person compulsory sessions:
- Tuesday 18th November (W10) | 9:30AM – 4:30PM | Introduction & Overview, Admin Processes, Misc. Training, Council Visions.
- Thursday 20th Nov (W10) | 10AM – 4PM | Leadership Workshop, Gendered Violence Awareness & Response Training, Wellbeing Presentation
CAMPAIGNING
Only UNSW students may campaign for the PGC elections (UNSW College students- previously 'Global' - may not campaign).
