The Arc PGC Research Awards 2025 – proudly supported by the Graduate Research School (GRS) – celebrate the outstanding contributions of UNSW Higher Degree Research (HDR) students, supervisors, and professional staff who have gone above and beyond to enrich the academic, social, and overall wellbeing of the HDR community.
This year’s ceremony will take place on Friday, 24 October 2025, from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Leighton Hall, UNSW. The event will recognise excellence across three award categories:

Research Student Awards – honouring HDR candidates who have demonstrated exceptional academic achievement, leadership, or community impact.

Research Supervisor Awards – recognising supervisors who have provided exemplary guidance, mentorship, and support to HDR candidates.

Professional Staff Awards – celebrating staff members whose dedication and service have significantly enhanced the HDR experience.
