Arc PGC Research Awards 2026

The Arc PGC Research Awards 2026, proudly supported by the Graduate Research School (GRS), celebrate the outstanding contributions of UNSW Higher Degree Research (HDR) students, supervisors, and professional staff who have gone above and beyond to enrich the academic, social, and overall wellbeing of the HDR community.

This year’s ceremony will take place on Friday, 20 November 2026, from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the UNSW Roundhouse. The event will be held as a cocktail and awards ceremony, recognising excellence across three award categories:

Research Student Award – honouring enrolled HDR candidates at UNSW who have demonstrated exceptional academic achievement, leadership, advocacy, or community impact.

Research Supervisor Award – recognising academic staff who supervise HDR candidates and have provided exemplary guidance, mentorship, and support.

Professional Staff Award – celebrating professional and administrative staff whose dedication and service have significantly enhanced the HDR experience.

Nominees will be assessed based on their contributions to the HDR community, including initiatives that support wellbeing, advocacy, representation, social connection, academic capacity, and professional development.

Join us in acknowledging the individuals whose commitment and passion continue to shape and strengthen the HDR community at UNSW.
