SRC Queer Collective

It's our job to support and represent all students on campus who are queer - that is, people who identify as lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, intersex, genderqueer, asexual or anywhere within the Queer spectrum.

Get involved

Check the Facebook page out for all information relating to upcoming events, Queer Collective meeting times, access to queer lounge etc.

The collective meets weekly and hosts a wide range of events and activities throughout the year. It is a safe space to meet other queer students, learn about queer issues, and just chill out. (Trimester 1 meeting time tbd)

If you would like to join the queer collective, gain access to the space, and be added to our autonomous Facebook page (only other members of the group will be able to see you are in the group)

The UNSW Queer Collective acknowledges that sovereignty was never ceded and we recognise all our activities and actions are done on Gadigal land of the Eora Nation, and pay our respect to elders past, present and future - extending that to Indigenous queer students on campus.

The Queer Collective is a decolonial, anti-capitalist, anti-homophobic, anti-transphobic, anti-racist, and pro-sex worker space.

Your Queer Officers for 2021 are Ava Lacoon-Robinson (she/her) and Zane Comarmond (he/him)!
