Sydney's ARI's - Artist Run Initiatives

What is an ARI?

ARI's (Artist Run Initiatives) are developed, organised and operated primarily by artists. There are many different structures for ARI's, eg: not-for-profit organisations. Many ARIs take the form of more traditional exhibition/gallery spaces, while others look to expanded notions of what an ARI can be in different contexts eg: projects that take place in domestic settings.
