Alleyway Kitchen: Yay or Nay?

By Gabriela Miziniak

Alleyway Kitchen is a new Chinese eatery on campus, conveniently located on the upper level of the Quad Food Court. I recently had the pleasure of trying it out, and here are some of my thoughts

The restaurant offered a wide range of meat options, including chicken, lamb, pork, and even some seafood options, but sadly lacked halal and vegan options. I got the small combo, which included chilli chicken and lamb with sauce. It also came with white rice. The food was rich in flavour, with different hints of spice. Although the meat had many bones, which made it difficult to eat, the crispness of the chicken made up for it. The service was speedy and efficient, as well as very kind and inviting. Overall, Alleyway Kitchen is a great place to try on campus and potentially make your new go-to spot for lunch. With its convenient location and great seating space, I highly recommend checking it out!
