Gear up!

Bike-ology will keep your bike in tip-top shape and keep you riding dirty (or clean, we don’t judge).

Bike riding can reduce stress, anxiety, and depression, improve general fitness and reduce risk of heart disease and cancer. It also provides you with a sense of empowerment and can improve your social life!

Whether you're training for the Tour Down Under, spending your weekends riding trails in National Parks, or simply don’t like waiting for the 891, Bike-ology is here to help keep your bike in good nick and pass on tips and tricks.

Is your bike looking wheelie-terrible? Drop by one of Bike-ology's maintenance workshops to fix all of your (bike-related) problems:

  • TUE 12-2PM ::  Arc Precinct
  • THU 12-2PM :: Michael Crouch Innovation Centre (MCIC)

If you’re handy with handlebars (and wheels, and gears, and everything in between), volunteer to help other students with their ride, host bike workshops and repair fixies that need a fix up.

We provide the tools and training, so all you need is a keen interest and passion for bikes.

Volunteers meet regularly at the bi-weekly workshops throughout the semester.

Volunteering with Bike-ology is also recognised on your Australian Higher Education Graduation Statement (AHEGS).
