Bike-ology in 2022

Hop off the bus and onto the bike! Bike-ology will fix or service your bike for free, with spare parts that we take off from old bikes, or with student pricing on brand new parts from our local parts suppliers and partners. Whether its a quick fix, tune-up or a massive overhaul, we are equipped with professional work-stands and tools to get the job done efficiently and to our best ability.

So if your bike is making a funny noise after a rainy ride... Or you pulled your rusty bike out from under the house. Pop into Bike-ology to check it out, whether it be big or small.

Volunteer with us!

  • Learn how to fix your bike and more obscure bike-related tech and standards!
  • Join a team of enthusiastic volunteers who share the same interests!
  • Converse with people from all over campus, UNSW and often students from many parts of the world!
  • Help people get back on their bike! The feeling is great when their bike is working like new!
  • Teach volunteers and customers how to fix their bike! A skill that only comes with experience!
  • Recognised on your Australian Higher Education Graduation Statement (AHEGS). This goes on your Transcript when you graduate and is a verified log of the hours you have put into Volunteering.

We are always looking for volunteers who are eager to learn and work in a team! We welcome volunteers of all skill levels and are well equipped to teach and train new volunteers! Volunteers are welcome to internal training and internal volunteer events. We aim to provide a fun social aspect to the club as we are always looking to host activities and events.

We are always welcoming new volunteers to contribute ideas and digital content to share via the Arc Facebook, Instagram and YouTube platforms. If you are into bikes and content production get in touch!

If you wish to volunteer, please directly contact the coordinator via email. Thanks!

While you're at home why not look after your bike! You can find bike tutorial videos, below.
